Well here we are again off on another adventure with the Bradford CHA walking club. This time across the sea to Northern Ireland for a two centre holiday by the sea and the mountains.
The coach left Bradford at 7.00 a.m. driven by our trusty coach driver Alan from J.A.K. Travel, picking up along the way. Several hours and two stops later we arrived at Cairnryan in good time to board the P&O ferry to Larne.
We arrived at Ballycastle in time to check in at the Marine Hotel or in my case Glenluce B&B.
We all had our meal together at the hotel and it was very busy as there was a wedding reception in progress at the same time. The food was very good but there was so much of it as the plates were absolutely enormous! I wish I had taken a photo of them as I have never seen such big plates before! It was very slow being served and there was only time for a quick stroll along the promenade before retiring to bed after a very long day.
